For years, Rich was international editor for Coin World, a weekly publication that catered to his specialty of foreign and ancient coins. His literary expertise is also put to good use in the writing of our semi annual catalogue we produce and offer to the public. Rich enjoys traveling and has visited 16 countries and 3 continents exploring international coin shows. While his travels for HCC are not international, Rich, nonetheless, loves meeting people and appraising their collections, which is why you will rarely find Rich in the office as he is usually on the road. Aside from coins, Rich is actively researching and writing his family genealogy. Richard Giedroyc holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Monmouth University and holds 6 numismatic literary guild awards.

Travis GeorgeTravis George  - You wouldn’t know it, but  Numismatist Travis George has only been studying coins since May of 2005. On a given day you will find him grading coins and helping customers right along side our senior numismatists, all of whom have years, even decades of experience on him. With this exposure, combined with the formal training he already has, including a degree in finance from the University of Findlay and the American Numismatists Association course in grading and counterfeiting, Travis is on his way to becoming a seasoned numismatist in record time. Travis not only enjoys learning about the trade from enthusiastic professionals and looks forward to investing his youth and formal education towards a career in numismatics. He also enjoys playing cards, socializing, and watching sports.

The son of HCC founder and President Howard C. Cook Jr., Carl has a degree in Marketing from Ohio University. Carl works directly with banks, providing the necessary support and service required for banks to participate in the coin program.  It is Carl's job and desire to ensure the program remains the premier service it has been since the beginning nearly 15 years ago.  Carl said of his position, “I truly enjoy being part of such a positive program where the customers are always appreciate the free service.”
It is rare to catch Carl in the office as he is mostly on the road visiting banks, but he will be sure to greet you with a smile and do his best to take care of your needs.

As our office manager, Angela is in charge of accounting, taking orders, scheduling appraisal days at banks, and training bank employees in selling HCC products. Kelly CookKelly Cook - When she started in 1992, Kelly was in charge of nearly every aspect of HCC from sales to shipping. Now, with a a young family, Kelly works mostly from home and still finds time to manage our eBay store, HCC Rare Coins. Kelly brings to HCC experience in graphic design, advertisement, Photoshop, and sales, so it is no surprise that she is in charge of photographing, posting, and selling many of our finest coins. With such valuable coins, Kelly must capture every fine detail when creating a digital image to insure that the pictures you see on our website are exact digital representations of the actual coins. Kelly also utilizes her skills by designing pamphlets and internet advertisements for HCC. When she isn’t working, Kelly is hard at work renovating her home and spending time with her little boys.

Ryan CookRyan Cook - Ryan was very young when he remembers his grandfather buying him coins on special occasions. This would start a life-long hobby of collecting coins for Ryan. Since then he has compiled an impressive lot of coins and is always in search of the priceless 1909 S VDB Lincoln Cent or the next commemorative half dollar to add to his collection. Working at HCC allows Ryan to do what he really loves to do – search through hundreds and hundreds of coins. “It’s cool to think about who touched a coin and where it’s been,” he says, “there’s so much history there.”
