    MEET THE ARTIST: PATRIC FOURSHE

     

    Artist, Painter, Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Teacher and Entrepreneur Patric Fourshe’ uses a computer as his main tool to create his museum-quality artwork. He brings all his past experiences into passionate focus in his current work. The Artist is a Master DigitalPainter who creates limited edition, signed, painted, archival-quality prints which are marketed through his business “DigitalDots” and HCC.

     A graduate of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, from which he holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Fourshe’ has worked as an art director, designer, and illustrator both in San Francisco and Los Angeles and more currently throughout Michigan. Fourshe’s work has been featured in New York Illustrator Annuals, American Illustrations, and in Outstanding American Illustrators Today. His Illustration and Design work have been featured in local Design competitions in Michigan.

     

    The artist participated with his acrylic and casein paintings in the “Return of Realism, Part Two” exhibition at Meadowbrook Art Gallery, Oakland University in 1978, “Michigan Artist’s 80/81, Flint Institute of Arts, “Annual all Michigan Scarab Club Silver Medal Exhibition”, Detroit, 1980 “Fifteen Illustrator’s”, Sarkis Galleries, CCS, 1985.

     

    He is the former Graphics Editor of the Detroit Free Press “Detroit Magazine”.

    In addition, Fourshe’ has taught and developed courses in computer graphics, web design, color theory and design, typography and advanced computer graphics at Hillsdale College, the University of Michigan, Washtenaw Community College, College for Creative Studies and at Jackson Community College throughout the past 34 years.
