The Creation of a Masterpiece

How it's done...

Set back in the woods in southern Michigan, south of Lost Nation Preserve, MasterDigital Painter, Patric Fourshe' formulates, designs, and draws his creations.

The following steps show the procedures of how these museum-quality, signed, limited-edition digital paintings evolve:

1.) The idea is worked up in pencil or ballpoint sketches.

2.) Once the idea is resolved, it is transferred into the computer.

3.) An electronic drawing pad and pen is used to draw and paint.

4.) The drawing stage goes through many variations.

5.) Color is added in the very beginning and is subject to changes.

6.) All these steps involve a lot of trial and error to ensure s-balanced composition in color and form.

7.) When the new creation meets the criteria set by the artist, it is printed on a high-end printer using lightfast inks and premium archival paper.

8.) Each print is hand-painted on the surface and is then signed and numbered by the artist.
